 Farano was specially requested to do
a painting of Jerry Rice for star
studded "Miami Rice" Super Bowl event and fundraiser. The painting was
used in the live auction and sold for 100k benefiting the Buoniconti
Fund for Paralysis. The event took place on Thursday February 4, 2010
at the Hard Rock Casino in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The following day
Rice was selected to be inducted to National Football League Hall of
Fame in August.
