Players inducted and honored at the event... Stu Sternberg received ... , Evan Longoria received the "Rookie of the Year" Award, Jorge Posada of the New York Yankees was given the "Community Service" Award, David Price of the Tampa Bay Rays was awarded "Pitcher Wall of Fame".
Rich Hererra of the Tampa Bay Rays pre-game and post-game radio show host interviewed Farano about some of his original artworks that were being showcased that night. In particular the Jorge Posada painting that Farano was working on and of which was also displayed on the large scoreboard. The Posada original oil painting, titled "Black and Blue" is 30" x 45" in size. Ray Negron of the New York Yankees commented on Farano's painting of Posada, "In regards to artwork, It is one of the best depections of Posada that I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of the greats. This is one heck of a talented kid (Farano)."
Many fans were in awe of Farano's amazing works.
A few of Farano's fine art limited editions were used in the silent auction. The main benefactor of the evening was the Children's Dream Fund of Tampa Bay.

Some notables in attendace were Pat Williams VP of the Orlando Magic, former NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneer standouts Michael Pittman and Martin Gramattica.
