Artist
Justyn Farano was invited and asked to participate in KO Breast Cancer's 2nd Annual Black Tie Boxing Gala by painting live in front of the many guests. Farano gladly accepted the offer and was happy to help this great cause. The charitable boxing dinner event was held at the A La Carte Paviliion in Tampa Florida on Saturday, April 4th 2009.
This wonderful event was sponsored by Charity For Women, which was founded in 2002. Charity For Women isa recognized 501c3 corporation who helps to educate and support women diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Although I do not currently know anyone personally who has been affected by this horrible desease, hopefully one day we will be able to find a cure for it. I would be more than happy to help again in the future with this organization for the battle against breast cancer. It was a very classy and well put together event. I appreciate the invitation and all the hard work that these people put into making a great night for such a great cause. Thank you and it was an honor to be a part of it" states Farano. Some of Farano's limited edition collections were used in the sports memorabilia auction that was held that night. During the cocktail party as guests entered the gala event, the extremely talented artist Farano worked on his new masterpiece of Tiger Woods, titled "Concentration". The 30" x 45" oil painting depicts Tiger Woods crouching down on the greens focusing and strategizing on his next move. This highly detailed piece of artwork needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate how beatiful and unbelievable it is.
Some notables in attendance were Michael Clayton and Chris Hovan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as Angelo Dundee, famous and legendary trainer of boxer Muhammad Ali. For more information about KO Breast Cancer Foundation, please visit:
