On Sunday May 3rd prior to the game of the Boston Red Sox verses the Tampa Bay Rays, NESN's Heidi Watney dropped by the Ted Williams Museum to make a visit and do an interview with the extremely talented sports artist, Justyn Farano. On special display in the museum for the series was a variation of Farano's original oil paintings including, Dustin Pedroia "Determination", David Ortiz "Mr. Clutch", Jacoby Ellsbury "In A Rush", Jonathon Papelbon "Smoking Ace", Ted Williams "Tough As Nails", Carl
Yastrzemski "Hitting Machine", Fenway Park "Tradition Lives Here", and Evan Longoria "Unleashed".

museum year round. Farano also paints live during specific Tampa Bay
Ray home games. Dave McCarthy is the Museum's Executive Director and
John Papelbon, Jonathan's father, is the Deputy Director. The Ted
Williams Museum is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization who helps raise
financial funds for admirable student athletes who excell in baseball,
academics, and good citizenship. The Ted Williams Foundation grants
students with scholarships and youth programs in the Tampa Bay and
Massachusetts communities along with raising money for many other
charities.
